I’m a Birth and Postpartum Doula.
Hi! Im Angie. I’m a birth and postpartum doula, a mama and a Métis woman. I am passionate about supporting moms and families through the tender seasons of pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
- I spent four years in Southern Africa working with a non-profit that cared for vulnerable communities — an experience that deeply shaped my heart for serving others. This is where my husband and I met!
- My own journey into motherhood has been both beautiful and challenging. My passion for supporting mama’s in this big life transition was profoundly influenced by the care and support I received from those at Hesed when I needed it most. I love being a mom, but I think it’s really hard, too. And we need one another to get through the highs and the lows.
- We cannot control every outcome during birth, or know the hurdles we will face in early motherhood, I know this firsthand. But the support surrounding us makes all the difference. Whether the path ahead feels uncertain, or exciting and full of expectation, you are not alone. It’s an honour to be apart of the journey with you.
